Choosing label material
Labels, tags or stickers are in fact quite similar, which is important to know in order not to create confusion.
The choice of material determines what properties your labels will have when printed.
-
Matt paper
Ordinary matt paper material.
The paper is optimised for inkjet printers, so you get high quality from your labels.
It is not moisture-resistant, so if your labels come into contact with moisture, we recommend that you use PP mat instead.
-
Glossy paper
This paper is coated with a glossy coating that is optimised for inkjet printers, so you get high quality from your labels. The coated overlay also makes it easily stain resistant.
It is not moisture resistant, so if your labels get near moisture, we recommend PP glossy instead.
-
PP mat
Our PP mat label material is made of plastic material which makes it both water and tear resistant.
This version has a matt finish. It is optimized for inkjet printing.
-
PP Glossy
Our PP glossy label material is made of plastic material which makes it both tear and moisture resistant.
This version is coated so it has a glossy finish. This makes the colours of your labels pop and create a nice eye-catching effect.

Recycled mat paper
If you have a desire to become more environmentally friendly in your label production, or just give your labels a more natural look, we can now offer our new environmentally friendly paper made from 30% recycled fibres.
The paper is slightly yellowish in its base and as it is made from recycled fibres, small visible flakes appear in the paper.
