As it is handmade it is almost exclusively available in sheet format.Washi paper or Tesuki-Washi as Ilford calls it built on a 1000 year old tradition from Japan. The paper is typically made from fibers of "Kozo", "Mitsumata" and "Gampi" plants and is used for letter writing and books, but also for making paper screens, room dividers and sliding doors in Japan.
